Excellent Hotel - Amazing Staff

The hotel is amazing, from check-in to restaurants and bars the staff are amazing. Rooms are a great size too. Location is great if you use the lift to the seafront. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach, bars/restaurants in Puerto Rico. Everything is spotlessly clean. Lots of sunbeds too.

Lift to seafront was out of order one morning and we had to walk out the main door to get down to the seafront. The road is very steep going down, we nearly slipped a few times. A lot of elderly people struggling. Think the hotel should have provided a shuttle bus for the time the lift was out of action. On arrival we were not allocated the room we had booked and had to stay in another room overnight. It was sorted the next day but wasn't a great start to our holiday.

I was upgraded to an amazing room with my own pool. I think it has to be the very best hotel room I have ever stayed in. I really appreciated the kindness of the staff. It made it an exceptional holiday.

Shambles at Reception

Overall a lovely hotel. Food is average. Kids pool is great and wasn't overly busy during our stay. Rooms were kept nice and clean and the service at the bars / restaurant was great. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to two beautiful beaches. What I would say is the check in process is awful. Firstly, despite confirming with the hotel twice, our transfer at the airport didn't arrive. We stood at the airport for an hour with two young children and when the hotel finally answered the phone, he initially said it was our fault as our plane was delayed (it wasn't delayed) and then admitted it hadn't been booked by them. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were told to come back at 2pm as the room wasn't ready, which was fine. Came back at 2pm and had to wait another 45 minutes for the key. I had to go back to reception on another occasion as the housekeeping (not Miguel) who brought the beds in had left our door wide open, leaving all of our belongings on show (including passports, tablets etc) however the staff weren't bothered or apologetic in any way. It was at this time that where were around 5 new (angry) parties trying to check in and one member of staff snapped at the other "I'm playing Tetris in my mind right now with these rooms!! I can't think!!" Which I thought was so unprofessional. Finally, when I had to provide details for our return transfer, the reception staff made me walk all the way back to our room (4 floors and a long corridor away) to obtain our receipt to show we had paid and then asked me to pay again. This conversation went on for 30 minutes before he admitted he was wrong and now understood. This was a big kick in the teeth seen as they'd messed up the initial transfer and caused us to arrive at the hotel flustered. Any enquiry with reception turns into an absolute mission. That being said, Pablo (kids entertainer) was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful.

A wonderful hotel located on the cliff walk between Peurto Rico amd Amadores.

Location and spacious rooms with sea view.

Rooms are slightly dated. Bathroom needs an upgrade.

All was great! Definitely a come-back place

Great location in between two beautiful beaches within a nice coastal walk. Amazing views, infinity pools for a chill morning swim. Wide choice of tasty food and a lot of drinks in the all inclusive package. Nice room, comfortable beds, big balcony with sunbed (we had triple room in section 2 over kids playground). Overall very good service. We did not attend evening shows, but there was something on schedule every night.

Entrance to spa was at extra cost and quite pricey. Would have been nice to get free pass to try it out one of the days during a week-stay. They offered discount vouchers some of the days before breakfast though.

The location and sea views are amazing from the hotel.

The corridors to the rooms are dark and could do with some paint on the walls as they do look a little worn.

Stunning views and lovely staff, didn't need to move outside of hotel.

Dinner limited to buffet in restaurant, lacking option for light meal in evening. This needs to be rectified. Very limited options outside of buffet restaurant. Reception staff helpful but inexperienced and often language barrier. I nearly missed my flight as taxi booked by reception never came. Waiting 20mins for taxi and checked with reception, they never notified me of problem with taxi. 2 other families had similar experience.

Good views from the infinity pool, breakfast wonderful, location ok but need taxis to get around.

The infinity pool has an amazing view of the ocean! Many Loungers and places to site on the pool floor. Ping pong and Billiards by the pool ok. The pool bar serves drinks and cocktails. The buffet for breakfast had a lot of variety and good quality. Staff are helpful and friendly. Building 3 is quiet, has ocean view, has access to restaurants, lobby, rooftop pool, etc. Free bottles of water daily in the room.

You can see that it is an old hotel and aging away. Could use an update. Add some palm trees on the pool floor. The hotel is in a mountain, so you need to take taxis and busses if you want to get out. The hike up and down the mountain side is ok for one time, but not everyday. The hotel should have a free beach shuttle to Amadores. You need to take 2 elevators to get down to the road level promenade to walk to town (5mins) or Amadores beach (10mins). If you want to chill a whole week at the hotel then it’s ok, otherwise a pain to use those elevators and taxis also the time to get out and about.

we stayed all inclusive & we found that not all the food & drink in the hotels pool bar was included I think there should also be staff around the pool as the rules were not been enforced
